| Description: | GEMS is a transformative initiative dedicated to combating period poverty among disadvantaged girls in Masvingo Province. The project provides comprehensive menstrual health education, access to sustainable menstrual products, and fosters supportive communities. It aims to empower girls with the knowledge and resources to manage their periods with dignity and confidence. Through partnerships with local schools, community leaders, men and boys, and civil society organizations, GEMS promotes awareness, breaks taboos, and advocates for policy changes to ensure equitable access to menstrual hygiene. |
