| Description: | The programs seeks to empower 90 young entrepreneurs in Masvingo District with essential business skills through the SIYB model, enhancing their ability to start, grow, and sustain successful enterprises that create decent jobs and drive local economic growth. Implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (MoWACSMED), the initiative will promote decent work, foster economic growth, and reduce poverty in the district, aligning with the ILO’s vision for sustainable entrepreneurship and youth employment. Two key outcomes of the Programme are:
· Outcome 1: At least 90% of Start Your Business (SYB) trainees will complete comprehensive business plans, enabling them to launch and sustain their entrepreneurial ventures · Outcome 2: At least 90% of Improve Your Business (IYB) trainees will develop and implement business improvement plans, leading to enhanced productivity, growth, and competitiveness. |
