| Description: | In collaboration with the private and public sectors, the SURE program trained 20 young growth-oriented enterprises from Masvingo district in sustainable and resilient business practices. The participants, aged 18-35, were drawn from diverse business sectors, including retail, wholesale, manufacturing, service operations, and agriculture/agro-related industries. The training covered topics such as greening growth-oriented enterprises, digitalization, the business ecosystem, risk management, crisis leadership, and staff engagement. In addition to classroom-based training, the program provided individualized coaching and mentoring sessions, which offered personalized support and guidance to address specific challenges faced by each business. The key results of the program were:
· Improved understanding of greening growth-oriented enterprises. · Enhanced Digitalization Skills. · Better understanding of the business ecosystem. · Strengthened risk management and staff engagement skills. |
